Competition Rules
General
- All web developers wishing to enter the
competition must register with Nic.LC stating their name and contact
details. Registration is free.
- Websites to be entered in the competition
should be submitted to Nic.LC for judging on CD-Rom no later than 23
May 2008.
- Winners will be announced on 11 June 2008.
- The decision of the team of judges selected by
Nic.LC is final and no appeals will be entertained.
Participants
- The competition is open to all Saint Lucian
web developers either resident in Saint Lucia or overseas who sign
in agreement to the rules and regulations of the competition.
Ownership of Websites
- The participants
agree that all websites submitted for judging in this competition
become the property of Nic.LC and may be used for the promotion of
Darren Sammy and the sport of cricket in Saint Lucia.
Site Content
- The design and content is open to the
creativity of web developers.
- The total size of the web site should be no
more than 5Mb.
- All websites must make provision for a main
banner advert on the top of the front page to recognize the winning
web developer and link to that developer’s site.
- All websites must make provision for 3 small
image links on the front page to recognize the main sponsors of the
prizes for the website competition.
- All websites must contain links on the main
page to www.stlucia.org (St.
Lucia Tourist Board),
www.stluciatravel.com (St. Lucia Hotel & Tourism Association),
www.stlucia.gov.lc (St.
Lucia Government), (www.nic.lc)
Nic.LC and (www.lusonestop.com) OneStopSports.
- All website must make provision for sub links
to honorable mention submissions.
- Nic.LC reserves the right to reject any site
for judging due to what in its opinion is in appropriate content or
links to in appropriate websites.
